House Geckos

So...we were sitting watching the OC (okayokay, I know. It was my first time watching it) and then we heard a little scuffle overhead.
We have a really cool two tailed house gecko that lives behing the aircon in our living room that comes out ot say hey sometimes. But some other gecko was trign to hone in on his territory so he apparently like bit the other guys leg and forced him away. So, I ran to grab my camera before they decided to hide again. By the time I got back, the two tailed guy was almost all behind the aircon but i got a sweet pick of what we can now see it about 2.2 tails and a couple pics of the other guy. So here you are, house geckos:

settling in

So, its almost been a week since I arrived and i love it here just as much, probably even more. I've gotten most of my banking stuff figured out ( Westpac here in Aust. is assocated with Scotia so I can assess my money without insane international fees) and got a moblie phone set up and all those other little thingys.
I'm currenty trying to figure out my working visa application and final couse stuff and pretty much just biding my time till the 6th when we go to our Orientation session and get our student cards etc. The next day Sarah and I are booked to bus up to Cairns and stay in a hostel and be total tousits. I am plannignon gettign ym diving certification ASAP (I've been meaning to for toooo long) while we're there so we can dive our butts of on the beautiful Great Barrier Reef - I dream of mine since ever I can remeber!
Anyhow, its still VERY hot and humid here, I dont think my hair has been totally dry since I got here, but I LOVE IT!!!

ps: I defiantely haev tons more pictures once we get back form our trip - Sarah has a casing for her digicam, somethign I definately want to look into.
