Great Bowerbirds

So, these Great Bowerbirds are pretty common birds apparently around here but are really interestign species in that instead of males having bright plumage, as many bird speices do to attract a mate, the males make elaborate twig nests in the shape of an avenue. I took these off our front porch on the way in from shoppign today. Enjoy.
